Reunión de madres = Mothers meeting

“MM is a crazy, sexy, cool collective of Mum’s from London.” Una idea genial que incluye madres que aman la moda, el diseño y la cultura. Se juntan para conversar, hacer ejercicios, para clases de maquillaje, entre otros y así la idea es poder aprovechar el poco tiempo libre que se tiene como madre.

Últimamente he estado trabajando en un proyecto algo parecido a este, pero obviamente no voy a dar más info al respecto por que; primero, quiero que resulte y siempre que cuento mis proyectos en sus inicios dp me aburren y los dejo botados y segundo, porque obviamente mejor ver el proyecto más completo.

Si alguna quiere desde ya formar parte de este proyecto no duden en contactarme, siempre es bueno el complemento de otra cabeza.

The Ten (intensely generalized) Hipster Commandments

  1. The first rule of hipsterism is you do not talk about hipsterism.
  2. No, but for real. If you admit to being one, your hipster street cred is nonexistent.
  3. If most of your friends have heard of any of your favorite bands, you’re not trying hard enough.
  4. The stranger or more confusing an outfit is, the better.
  5. Try not to look entertained by, impressed by, or passionate about anyone or anything. Ever. In fact, don’t show any emotion but ironic and condescending  humor (but only in certain situations) and/or ennui.
  6. Read books. Lots of them. Or at least sparknote the classics so you can drunkenly discuss the merits of Plath and Kerouac at your next party.
  7. Own a pair of shoes that lace up. Preferably boots, but sneakers that are falling apart are acceptable. Their worn look shows how artistic you are.
  8. Get a tumblr. If you don’t know what that is, you’re not cool enough to have one.
  9. Make a few attempts at art or music. Photography is acceptable. As long as your work is filled with meaning and feeling that you can’t express (see 5 for clarification). Don’t let the Man tell you what art is and isn’t.
  10. And, to round up the last of the clichés, get glasses, become a vegetarian, start smoking, get some tattoos, buy a bike and ride it places (so people will see and admire how socially and environmentally conscious you are), and try to be as skinny as possible (from looking at the all-knowing fashion blogs mentioned earlier, I guess all this stuff works better when you’re skinny).

Dije que quería arcoirises, pero esto es diferente. Es una línea de tiempo desde el impresionismo hasta el pop art, mostrando años obviamente y algunos cuadros por artista. Bello. Hay muchos movimientos que me hacían pelar el cable cuando iba en el colegio. Es bueno recordar esos momentos. The modern art timeline.
